Quickly estimate material needs for any garden project. Weights, volumes, and costs at your fingertips.
The pet age calculator for Grow a Garden tells you exactly how much your pet weighs at any age — and what that weight means for its trade value and abilities. Whether you are aging a pet toward Godly tier or trying to price one before a trade, use the GAG Calculator to get the numbers right in under 30 seconds. For the full pet calculator suite including XP, hatch speed, and trade value, see the Grow a Garden Pet Calculator. Pet weight drives everything from cooldown reduction to market worth, and this guide covers all of it.
Three inputs, instant output — no guesswork needed.
Input your pet's current age between 1 and 125. Pets max out at age 100 normally, or up to 125 using the Pet Age Breaker.
Find your pet's hatch weight in your inventory. This is the base number the formula uses — get it right and everything else follows.
The calculator instantly shows your pet's current weight, its classification (Small through Godly), and estimated trade value range.
First time? These four steps cover everything you need to know.
Go to gagcalculators.net and open the Pet Age Calculator tab. No login or account needed.
Open your in-game pet inventory and note the current age. Ages run from 1 to 100 standard, up to 125 with the Age Breaker machine.
The hatch weight is shown when the egg first opens. If you used a Brontosaurus incubator, use the boosted value shown at hatch time.
The tool outputs current weight in kg and flags the tier — Small, Normal, Huge, Titanic, or Godly. Use this to price trades fairly.

The Pet Age Calculator — enter age and hatch weight to get current kg, tier, and trade value instantly.

Weight classifications from Small to Godly — each tier changes ability strength and trade value significantly.
Here is what makes this tool the right choice for serious players.
Enter age and hatch weight, get your result immediately. No loading screens, no server calls, no delays whatsoever.
Uses the game-verified formula W = (Wh ÷ 11) × (A + 10) with a 2% error margin — the same math serious traders rely on.
Check pet values while trading in-game on your phone. The tool is fully responsive and works on any screen size without any issues.
No premium tier, no locked features. Every pet, every age, every classification — all free, all the time, for every player.
The pet age calculator is a free fan-made tool for Grow a Garden on Roblox that calculates how much a pet weighs at any given age. Pet weight is not static — it grows as the pet ages, using a formula based on the hatch weight and the current age level. Since weight directly affects ability strength and trade value, knowing the exact number before a trade is essential.
Pets were added in update 1.04.0 and have become one of the most traded item types in the game. Their value scales with weight, which scales with age — making the age calculator one of the most practical tools any Grow a Garden player can use.
This is the exact formula the game uses — and what the calculator replicates.
The result. This is your pet's weight in kg at the age you entered. This number determines its tier and trade value.
The weight your pet had when it first hatched. Find it in your inventory at hatch time. Brontosaurus incubator increases this.
Your pet's current age level from 1 to 125. Age is the main growth driver — older pets are always heavier and more valuable.
The formula has a 2% margin. Certain mutations and special incubators may cause minor deviation from the predicted result.
Each tier changes ability strength and market value. Know which tier your pet is in before every trade.
| # | Classification | Weight Range | Tier | Trade Demand |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Godly | 9 kg and above | Godly | Extremely High |
| 2 | Titanic | 8 kg – 8.99 kg | Titanic | Very High |
| 3 | Huge | 5 kg – 7.99 kg | Huge | High |
| 4 | Normal | 1 kg – 4.99 kg | Normal | Medium |
| 5 | Small | Under 1 kg | Small | Low |
Weight classifications from the official Grow a Garden Wiki. Godly pets (9 kg+) offer maximum passive ability output.
These errors give wrong results and lead to bad trades.
The hatch weight is species-specific and affected by incubators. If you used a Brontosaurus Giant Incubator, your hatch weight is higher than the base. Always enter the actual weight shown at hatch — not the species default. Using the wrong number throws off every downstream calculation.
Standard pets max out at age 100. The Pet Age Breaker machine lets you push this to 125 by using a duplicate pet and 5 billion Sheckles. If you are projecting future weight for a pet that has been Age Broken, input the correct extended maximum age.
Certain mutations like Jumbo or Nightmare change how a pet looks in-game but do not add to its base weight. Do not confuse visual size with the actual kg value. The calculator uses base weight only — displayed size in-game is a cosmetic effect from the mutation.
Two pets can both be "Huge" but have very different weights — 5.1 kg and 7.9 kg are both Huge but trade for very different amounts. Always compare exact kg values when doing trade negotiations, not just the tier label. Use the calculator for the precise number.
Many players trade pets without checking the actual age. A pet at age 40 and age 80 of the same species have dramatically different weights. Before any trade, verify the age in your inventory and run it through the calculator so you know exactly what you are dealing with.
New to pets in Grow a Garden? Start here before you touch the calculator.
Pets age when fed. The hunger bar drops every 12 hours. Stay on top of feeding to keep growth steady. Use Lollipops and Maple Syrups for faster XP gain.
Night Owls and Blood Owls boost XP gain. The Eagle gives a 20% XP boost. Equip these while aging pets you want to reach Huge or Godly tier faster.
Never trade a pet without checking its exact weight first. Run it through the Grow a Garden Pet Calculator — it takes 10 seconds and protects you from bad deals.
Decide which tier you are aiming for — Huge, Titanic, or Godly — and use the calculator to find how many more ages are needed to get there before making any trade decisions.
What experienced players actually do differently.
The moment a pet hatches, note its exact hatch weight. Many players miss this and have to estimate later. A precise hatch weight gives you accurate projections at every age using the formula — imprecise inputs lead to imprecise results every time.
When someone offers you a pet, ask for its age and hatch weight. Run both through the calculator before responding. A pet at age 60 that looks "close to Godly" might still be a long way from 9 kg depending on its hatch weight. Never trust appearances.
The Ostrich pet adds 1 to 4.85 years to pets hatched from eggs. If you are trying to maximize how quickly a new pet reaches high tiers, having an Ostrich active in your garden when hatching eggs gives you a meaningful head start on the aging curve.
The Pet Age Breaker requires a duplicate pet and 5 billion Sheckles per use. Before investing, calculate whether breaking a specific pet at age 100 will push it from Titanic into Godly. If the weight gain from 100 to 125 is not enough to change the tier, it may not be worth the cost.
Mutations reset pet age back to 1. If you plan to mutate, do it intentionally — either early when the pet has low trade value, or after you have decided the age peak is where you want it. Age the pet, check the weight, then decide if mutation is worth the reset. The mutation guide on the official wiki explains which mutations are available and their requirements.
